'Survivor' winner has big plans
By JAM! TV
The future is bright for "Survivor: Thailand" winner Brian Heidik.

In an interview with CNN/Money.com, Heidik, a former softcore porn star and used car salesmen, revealed that later this year he is going to guest star on "Saturday Night Live" and host the children's program "Sesame Street". Besides being on "Survivor," Heidik has appeared on "Doogie Howser, M.D.," "Days of Our Lives" and "Baywatch Nights".

As far as his financial situation, Heidik is predicting that endorsements and TV/film roles of one form or another will bring him between $100,000 and $500,000 over the next five years. As per his "Survivor" contract, Visa, Chevrolet, Coca-Cola, and Radio Shack are the first in line to consider Heidik for any endorsement deals.

"People in the car business have contacted me to try to start dealerships and so on. But I won't work with anyone who hasn't been successful and can't bring something to the table," he told CNN/Money.com. "And some wackos have wanted to start sludge lots with me, selling used cars for under $10,000," Heidik told CNN/Money.com Staff Writer, Annelena Lobb.

Having won the $1 million ($675,000 after taxes), Heidik has installed a new security system in his home, bought a Dodge Viper and invested $20,000 in a college education plan for his two-year-old son, Logan. Hiring Wells Fargo financial advisor Frank Colatruglio, Heidik has invested much of his winnings in a profit-sharing plan and a fixed income portfolio of triple-A rated California municipal bonds.

Meanwhile, "Survivor: Amazon," the sixth edition of the top-rated reality show series, is set to debut in February. The new cast will be revealed on Monday's edition of "The Early Show" on CBS.

Actually, woudln't there be a whole lot more, since Canada doesn't tax prize winnings?  In the US they not only tax prize winnings, but they tax it in an absurdly higher tax bracket because it's prize winnings.   Kinda like getting a bonus at work.  The taxes on the bonus are so high that it would have been way nicer to have just gotten a tiny raise on your pay.

Chick, Chick, Chick . . . . (Ol' Bumper's smiling and shaking his head) Roll Eyes

A man's GOTTA' have something to drive, now don't he?? Wink    . . . . . . . . Might as well be something with a little style!! Grin  At least he isn't driving one of those butt-ugly Azteks like they gave some of the past winners!  Grin

Actually, ol' Brian is still in character, acting like a pretty shrewd guy.  That Viper is a VERY collectable car, and is sure to appreciate in value over time rather than depreciate!
