I cannot believe this! The reason that they gave...
 
"The new series, scheduled to begin in the US this tuesday (Sept 12) [did they have the wrong date even?], has already drawn strong critism there. As Singapore's national broadcaster, we need to treat issues of race, including racial stereotyping, with utmost sensitivity. Channel 5 will monitor the series development before making a decision on the broadcast of Survivor : Cook Islands."
 
I GOT THIS WHOLE PARAGRAPH OUT OF OUR LOCAL MAGAZINE.
 
What made me mad was the fact that.. THEY DON'T EVEN HAVE PLANS TO SHOW THE AMAZING RACE AS WELL!!
 
And yet they didn't have any reasons for thatHuh
 
And guess what i'm thinking... I feel that they know that in Singapore.. most people know that when Survivor airs, The Amazing Race will normally come together. By not showing The Amazing Race, most people won't realize that Survivor is not banned from TV as yet.
 
THIS IS SO STUPID AND RIDICULOUS!!

That sucks big time!  I can't believe they can be so judgemental without even knowing what is going on.  
 
It sounds like they'll probably show it after they figure out there is no big deal.  (If you're in any fantasy games it's gonna screw you up real good.)

ya thats kinda sucky and really stupid Channel 9 won't show it until like a month after it starts here in Australia they do this every season though.. so i've got torrents this time hehe hopefully i can stay caught up

Pay TV networks in Australia are starting to move in, they are attempting to take new movies, high rating TV shows and sports even for Pay TV so commercial networks are left with nothing decent to watch

You could rake in some big bucks locally by "predicting" who gets booted off before the episode airs.
