Just finished watching and i thought all 3 performers were great. But if i had to choose two to be in the final 2, it had to be Jordin and Melinda.

If Blake makes the final 2, then i'll just root for either Jordin or Melinda then. But hopefully not.

Blake's performances are just too.. abstract, as i call it. It's cool and everything. But once it reaches the beat box part, i get uneasy hearing it and switched channels.

I loved all 3 performers but I do think it should be Melinda and Jordin for final 2. Between them, I enjoy watching Jordin perform more that I do Melinda, so I will probably vote for Jordin.

BLAKE NEEDS TO GO!

I LOVED Jordins second and last performances. Her first was okay but still better than any of Blake's. I understand what Popo was saying about his singing being "abstract". Melinda, as usual, was great. There COULD be a huge shocker tonight though with Melinda getting eliminated. It's anybody's game though if Jordin gets out, I won't even watch the finale.

I love AI but it just hasnt been the same for me since the yrs that Fantasia and Carrie won. I personally wanted to see Melinda and Blake in the final but oh well. Im not a big fan of Jordin so that being said you know who I would like to see win but I dont think he will. Oh well. Oh well. But I am excited for the finale anyway, its always a really good show.

I don't think Taylor winning was a joke. Now he's nowhere near the caliber of a singer that some of the others have been, BUT he was a fantastic live performer, which is what got him the vote. The biggest problem is that great live performances don't always = great album sales or radio play. Taylor is a different kind of winner, one that's more ideally suited to something like Vegas or Branson, because he was FUN to watch perform live. I think he could live a long and happy career in that kind of environment. I would go to watch him perform live if I had the opportunity, but I probably would never buy his album (if that makes sense).

Not me. That's just the reason why i think Taylor isn't even an all-rounded idol winner. Anyone can entertain us, Sanjaya did with his horrible performances week after week, but did we want to see him around and win? Taylor won because he got lucky, if he was in this season, i bet he wouldn't even make the top 24.

I'm afraid I have to agree with Rhune on this one. I thought Taylor was great and I actually wanted him to win. I enjoy his jazzy-bluegrass style.

Fantasia, I never liked. Nor did I think she was what I would call an "Idol". But I understand that her genre of music appealed to a lot of people. I wonder if you compared her album sales to Taylor's if they would be comparable.

Rhune, I feel the same way about Bo Bice. I bought his CD and was very disappointed. Because most of his allure is SEEING him perform.

As for Taylor, I'm sure he continues to do well on the bar circuit.

Rueben's album sales are also probably pretty comprable. I would agree half the fun is watching them perform. In Bo's case, I also think what hurt him was the writers that were chosen for him and the lack of control he had over content and style. They really missed the mark with the mold they tried to put him into afterward.
