All 3 of Archuleta's songs touched my heart - from the bottom.
 
Especially the last song, i don't really like songs like this.. but it sent chills down my spine now that i'm listening to it.
 
As for David Cook, i thought the last song was really good too. Sent chills down my spine as well..  
 
I think David Archuleta will win, but his dad seems to be pretty turn off.
 
As for David Cook, i think he will sell millions of records as well.
 
I thought i didn't really enjoy this season, but oh well.

Lol. I must say DA stepped up the competition but still Cook rocked it. The judges were a bit weird tonight. I am mostly irritated with Simon's sarcastic comments Cheesy  
 
I still think he wants Cook more than Archulater.

While DA's voice was OUTSTANDING, DC is who I would pay to see, and whose albums I would buy.  Cook for the win!

Best ending in Idol history!  I had conceded that Arch would win to my chagrin.  I do not like him one bit.  Yes, he has a great voice, but he is not the total package.  He can't dance, he can't work a room the way Cook has all season.  Cook is seasoned and Arch is just beginning to mature.  
 
Last night, I saw the total package in Cook.  His announcments for the oncoming acts, his playing with ZZ Top, everything was spot on.  
 
When he won, I cried like a baby.  The world showed AI whose record they wanted to buy.  And it was not Arch's.  
Perhaps Arch will go far, but I predict he will not.  12 million more are willing to give Cook a chance and buy his music.

I'm with you lake.  David Cook is the most "professional" amateur I have seen on AI.  What great presence and a great voice.  Not to mention, quite the sexy smile too!

I was not following this season at all, until David Cook's Always Be My Baby TOPPED radio charts here. I thought it was brilliant how he changed the song to fit his style. From then on I rooted for him to win AI and I'm glad he did!
