This was in one of my web clips in my gmail just now, from Reality Blurred.com.

CBS reportedly announcing its own Celebrity Big Brother cast next week

CBS is expected to announce a US version of Celebrity Big Brother next week, according to a single sentence in an AOL TMZ.com story.

At the end of a story about the week in television, TMZ.com reports, Meanwhile, CBS is expected to announce the next cast of Survivor, and the cast of the first celebrity edition of Big Brother, at some time next week. Frustratingly, there is no additional information. If this is true, apparently things have changed since three years ago, when CBS president Les Moonves said thered be no celeb edition of either Survivor or Big Brother, because no celebs were interested. That was pre-Surreal Life, though.

Will this show be Big Brother 7, or will there be two versions of the series airing this year? Will CBS use regular celebrities instead of past all-star cast members, as was rumored? Might the American celebrities mentioned as possible cast members for the new UK celebrity show be cast members?

Updates will come when theres information to report.

So this is either a misunderstanding, or a crazy rumor, or there really is a US Celeb BB coming.

Combustible cast for US 'Celebrity Big Brother' challenge
EVEN AS THE LOCAL CELEBRITY EDITION of "Pinoy Big Brother" is still being finalized, we hear that the US version, "Celebrity Big Brother," has already lined up some very interesting "housemates."

Reportedly set to join the US celebrity challenge are the popular likes of Macaulay Culkin, Anna Nicole Smith and Dennis Rodman.

This (partial) lineup of such "combustible" personalities serves notice that the US show should turn out to be a verbal and visual roller-coaster ride. Will the celebrity cast of the local version, which is scheduled to be launched next month, be as colorful?

rodman is in the UK celeb BB. also, last month when i was wikipediaing, i read there that macaulay would also be in the UK version, but, well...he isn't in there inside UK BB's house.

whenever a show goes to celebrities it means its getting bad(the mole)
I hope BB can stay a few more seasons!
I would like celebrity reality shows if they used ACTUAL celebrities..you know, like not those ones you have never heard of or the ones that are really old!I mean a few old, okay, but sometimes they get ridiculous..
