Escapees' Car on eBay Site The Dallas Morning News Looking for a Christmas gift for a true-crime lover or law-enforcement enthusiast? Want a present that has been inspected by a real-life CSI team? A church in Pueblo, Colo., is auctioning a getaway car once used by seven Texas prison escapees, saying the money raised will help pay for a new building for its congregation. Bidding - being handled by Internet auction site eBay - starts at $10,000. The auction ends Monday. As of Wednesday evening, there were no bids. Sure, the FBI scoured the 1986 Honda Accord for evidence, tearing out the back left light and cutting patches from seats, but the church says that only adds to the car's allure. "If you become the new owner of this historical collector's item, we will include all the paperwork we have on the vehicle, which includes the original title, a copy of the bill of sales, all the newspaper articles, the subpoena (ellipsis)," the church wrote on eBay.
