Two more miracles today...

Do you recall last week the story about the Marine who was called to active duty and left for Korea?  His four month old son was born with a severely defected heart.  Last night he received a heart transplant in an uneventful four hour surgery.  He's recoving beautifully!  More prayers of thanks for this feat!   Cool

And Christopher Reeve received an implant of a device that will allow him to breath - on his own - room air for up to two hours at a time.

I think it's high time we all hear some good news for a change!  Amen and amen!

"Senility Prayer"...God grant me...
The senility to forget the people I never liked
The good fortune to run into the ones that I do
And the eyesight to tell the difference."

Christopher Reeve continues to amaze and impress me.  He has made himself into a true superman.   Everything he does is for better treatments and hopefully cures for spinal injuries.  He is an incredible man.  It was a  tragic accident that happened to him but that is exactly what disables so many others -  he is an inspiration for all of us.
