First Amber Alert in Montreal, Quebec...

The Montreal police dept has set off the first Amber Alert yesterday, for a 17 y o girl who was reported missing in the end of the afternoon.  
 
One citizen saw the alert on TV ( car plate #, brand and color of the car, girl picture, suspect's picture) and he contacted the police right after seeing the young girl and her b/f (wich was the suspect) on the highway.    
 
This first Amber Alert here was a succes. I personnally think that it was about time that the medias and the police joined efforts, too many children are reported missing every year.
