World's biggest chocolate bar unveiled

NEW YORK (Reuters) - The world's largest piece of chocolate at 6,750 pounds (3,068 kg) has been unveiled in New York by Hershey Foods, enough to put it in the Guinness Book of World Records.  
 
   
 
It stood 6 feet, 6 inches high and was made with 10-pound (4.5-kg) blocks of chocolate stacked 53 layers high, said Judiaann Woo, chef at the French Culinary Institute, whose team sculpted the chocolate.  
 
 
An official from New York's weights and measures department certified the measurements. An appreciative audience of chocolate lovers, including local Girl Scouts and other area children were on hand for the event.  
 
 
The project was promoting launch of a dark chocolate version of the Hershey's Kisses brand. The gargantuan bar will be displayed at Hershey's headquarters in Hershey, Pennsylvania.

I was thinking that if you put a group of woman during the right time of month near this..it will no longer be existing...   :laff:

We visited some theme park in Hershey, PA when I was a kid, but I was only like 5 at the time so all I remember are glimpses - bits and pieces of memory.  I remember the streetlamps were shaped like hershey's kisses and that there was a man walking around in a mr. goodbar costume....

yep, and they have a little tour as well, you ride this little cart thingy, like a railroad car sort of.  And when you are in line for that, they pull in random groups to do "taste tests" it is actually quite cool there.
