Willimantic Teen Charged With Murder
4:57 PM EDT,August 7, 2003
Associated Press

NASHUA,N.H. -- A 16-year-old girl and her boyfriend planned and carried out the stabbing death of her mother, police allege in court documents released today.

Police said Jeanne Dominico, 43, apparently died from multiple stab wounds.

William Sullivan, 18, of Willimantic, Conn., was charged with first-degree murder. Investigators allege Dominico's 16-year-old daughter acted with Sullivan. She has been charged in juvenile court.

Officers found Dominico's body when they were called to the house around 7:40 p.m. Wednesday.

Sullivan was arraigned in Nashua District Court today.

According to a police affidavit, Sullivan said he and the girl planned the murder so they could live together in Connecticut. Police said Sullivan admitted during a videotaped interview that he had planned on hitting Dominico with a baseball bat.

Sullivan told police that he hit Dominico, then got a knife from the kitchen and stabbed her until the knife broke, according to the affidavit.

Sullivan told police he then returned to the kitchen, got another knife, and stabbed Dominico eight times in the throat and at least once in the back of the neck, the affidavit said.

Sullivan told police that when Dominico became unresponsive he went to the second floor, changed his clothes and cleaned himself up.

Police said the daughter told them Sullivan had killed her mother while she kept lookout at a nearby 7-Eleven. According to authorities, she told police she disposed of evidence and helped Sullivan get new clothes. Sullivan will have a probable cause hearing in late August.

It involves blood in multiple rooms and my contact at the Attorney General's office told me it is one of the worse she has seen this year.   I just can't even imagine what has happened that people now think it is okay to murder just so you can get your own way... Cry

Well since this is still a criminal investigation, I can't give any specifics but we went to clean this up today. We will have to go back tomorrow cause the worse part is cleaning all the fingerprint powder that is all over the house.

We have seen worse crime scenes but in seeing the story laid out in this house, it always really saddens me to know that someone was awake and struggling and that the murderer still can finished  the deed. I know that at judgement day, that these two will pay for this crime but as someone who loves their mom, I truly hope that they suffer long before then. What was done that day was horrible, just horrible.

Meanwhile, I guess this is the week for bio-hazard clean ups. We were called out this weekend to clean up after a suicide. Those are by far the worse cleanups cause a gun does so much more damage than being beaten by a bat. Suicides are not talked about in the paper so not only are they messy, sad but also the person is not even missed except by close family and friends. This man definitely had a beef with his wife and went into her kitchen to make sure he messed it up for her.

I wish people would think before they do something like this. Obviously this guy was hurting but instead of getting help, he chose this route. Such a sad ending.  Cry

yeah..he definitely put the gun into his mouth and let go. I have never seen one of these scenes but it made sense when I was told that it basically blows all the parts everywhere..they end up in other rooms cause of the impact. I guess you feel no pain but man what a way to die...  Huh
