'Today' Show's Matt Lauer a Father Again

NEW YORK (AP) — Matt Lauer now has another reason to be getting up at an ungodly hour.
 
The "Today" show host's wife, Annette, gave birth to the couple's second child Thursday, a daughter. Romy Lauer weighed 7 pounds, according to an NBC spokeswoman.
 
The Lauers already have a son, Jack.
 
Busy with childbirth, Lauer was replaced on the "Today" show by Lester Holt on Thursday.
