Police are no longer looking for Anthony Rankine. He was discovered shot to death inside a missing white van that he had rented prior to the death of the boy's mother. Rankine apparently had been dead for some time prior to the discovery of his body. Speculation is that he had been killed around the same time period as the boy's mother. There is no further updated info concerning the missing boy. Rankine has been linked to a Jamacian drug gang.

The body of Marquis Jobe was discovered on Friday, 12/12/03 in a section of woods behind a K-Mart store in South Richmond. From evidence gathered at the recovery scene, it appears that Jobe has been dead for quite some time. He had been shot in the head.

Police were led to the discovery of the body by a tip from an undisclosed source and are hopeful that this "source" will lead to the apprehension of the shooter.

Word on the street is that this Jamacian drug group is a very ruthless bunch and leave no loose ends when they deal with a "situation".

The shame of this situation is that this young man died trying to survive in a home life where drugs and the lowlifes that surround them, were routinely present.
