It appears wedded BLISS in NOT part of Britney's future as she is already seeking anullment I might mention I was married long ago in same chapel as well when I was quite young (22) it lasyted 3 weeks lol here is article

Report: Britney Already Seeking Annulment

LAS VEGAS - Pop star Britney Spears (news) marched down the aisle in Las Vegas, marrying a childhood friend from Louisiana, according to news reports.

The 22-year-old singer married Jason Allen Alexander of Kentwood, La., early Saturday at the Little White Wedding Chapel on the Strip, according to People.com, the Web site for People magazine. But an unnamed source close to singer told the Web site that the wedding was a joke that went too far and Spears is planning an annulment.

Calls to Spears' representatives were not immediately returned.

The bride wore jeans and baseball cap, according to People.com, and had a hotel bellman walk her down the aisle.

The Las Vegas Review-Journal reported on its Web site that Spears and Alexander, 22, were granted a marriage license, citing an affidavit of Application for Marriage License filed Jan. 3.

People.com reported that Spears and Alexander journeyed to the Little White Wedding Chapel after a stop at the Ghostbar, a club in the Palms Casino Hotel. It reported that the chapel staff told the couple that they couldn't get married without a license, so they were reportedly taken by the limo to the Clark County Marriage Bureau office in the downtown Las Vegas courthouse. They applied for and were granted the marriage license, then driven back to the chapel, where they were married.

Spears released her fourth album "In the Zone" in November. It debuted at the top of the album charts. She begins a concert tour March 2 in San Diego.

but this isnt new but I felt compelled to post this thread for two reason our obcession with clebs and their private lives and the fact both Rhune and I had been married in same Chapel lol

This is so funny, because the same night my husband and I married there, so did Dennid Rodman and Carmen Electra, and they also got an annulment right away. I guess we are a record in that we stayed married. Grin

Yes I married my first wife (before Evil Mommy Heidi lol) in 1980 at same Chapel in Vegas I was still drinking back then and married my 16 year old G/F marriage lasted 3 weeks before we split up.

Heh, one of their claim to fames on the wall I recall was that Mickey Rooney had married each of his 8 or so wives there, so I guess they have a long history of annuled and ended marriages there.

I dont recall that but then i was probably drunk at the time lol. but i do remember chapel in fact one of my ex bosses also got married there and was divroced less than a year later

Alexander was back in his hometown Sunday, according to his grandfather, Robert Alexander.

"He'd been through a lot. We picked him up in New Orleans coming back and he didn't have much to say," the elder Alexander told "Entertainment Tonight."

"I wish them well," he said. "Whatever happens, happens."

He said Spears and Alexander had also spent Christmas Eve together.

Calls to Alexander's family home in Kentwood were answered by a machine. His grandmother said any details about the wedding would have to come from Jason or his father.

"We know about the wedding and stuff. It's all over the news," Betty Alexander said.
