Angelina Puts Money Where Mouth Is
Maybe it's just us, but Angelina Jolie seems to turning into an edgier version of the humanitarian-minded Audrey Hepburn. The Washington Post reports the altruistic bombshell, 29, who is a goodwill ambassador for the U.N. High Commissioner, was in D.C. Wednesday to kick off World Refugee Day with some help from Secretary of State Colin Powell.  
 
"We are so thankful that there are beautiful souls like Angelina who so selflessly turn their compassion into action and not just words," an obviously starry-eyed Powell told the crowd.  
 
At the event, Angelina announced she's donating $500,000 to make sure children who arrive in the U.S without parents have legal representation. "Some have walked, some have taken boats," she explained. "Some also were children that were trafficked."  
 
The Oscar-winning actress also revealed more about her plans to bring home a sibling for her 3-year-old son, Maddox, whom she adopted from Cambodia in 2002. "I don't know when. I don't know how many children," she tells the Post. "I could realize at three [kids] that I can only handle three as a single mother. I might be fortunate to fall in love and get married and realize that, with the help of a partner, I could adopt more."  
 
Her ultimate goal, she says, is "having under the same roof Arab, Asian, European, Muslim, Buddhist, Christian [children]. And I'm curious as to how I'm going to manage that, but I think it's what the world kind of should be."

Now this is the kind of thing Celebs should be doing rather than ranting about things! Cool Ms. Jolie rather than blame someone and insight hate againist them has chosen a wiser method and actully done something about it! Bravo Ms Jolie for taking action rather than insighting hate! You can agree or disagree with her but point remains the same she didnt rant and scream or name call etc etc she took action

I am certain that other celebs give money to charities much more than we know...atleast I hope. I admire the work angelina does with charities and especially unicef, its wonderful.....however... its interesting how easy it is for the rich and famous to adopt...I personally know some of the process and It is extremely difficult!...I guess shes given up the vile of BillyBobs blood from around her neck, and has calmed down a bit...really though , I guess even with adoption money makes the difference...sad Sad  but true.

I have read some earlier interviews with her where she talked about how she was into cutting and other things like that, which is indicative of borderline personality disorder.  I love what she does for the world, but I hope for the sake of her own children she's addressed the problems in her own home as well as the problems of the world.
