Amber Alert Canceled for 10 Year Old Indiana Girl
Posted: Thursday January 27 1:15 PM CT
Updated: Sunday January 30 4:22 PM CT
 
The Crothersville Police Department and the Indiana State Police canceled the Amber Alert on Sunday afternoon after the girl's body was found near Seymour Indiana. Seymour is about 5 miles north of Crothersville. The suspect remains at large.  
 

 
 
Note, I changed the title of this message since no one seemed to want to touch it with a 10 foot pole.  I know it's sad stuff, but it's more important we know this face and teach it to our children than avoid it because it saddens us.

Talk to your kids about this, make sure they know this guy's face.  Make sure they know what to do if a stranger approaches and offers them a ride or threatens for them to get in a car with them.  Make sure your kids understand you will NEVER ever send a stranger to come get them, even if that stranger tells them you have...this could have been prevented!

OMFG. The other day I was driving and there was a girl talking with a man in a van. I waited until she left and the bus picked her up though, so she was safe, but now I feel like crap for not taking the liscence plate.  Cry
