Read this on CNN the other day.

Now that could be entertaining.  Grin  Tim Curry, David Hyde Pierce and Hank Azaria. Quite a trio there.

I'm a huge Monty Python fan!  Cool

One of my favorite skits was the one where the lawyer and judge are playing charades with each other, trying to guess the defendant's judgement.  Remember that one, Borad?

"He's gill-cup!"

Actually, I lied.  My most favorite skit of all was the Ministry of Silly Walks.

I always loved the spam skits myself.

Rupey I love you more each day!!!  Tongue

Ministry of silly walks was the best by far.

"I'm sorry. Your walk is just not silly enough for a grant."
"That's why I need the funding. To make it better"

I loved when MTV used to show Python at night. I taped several of those episodes just to have around. One of these days I will have to break down and get the DVD collection.

To this day I still play "Monty Python Sings" when I travel in the car. Nothing makes a dull drive better than classics like:

"Always look on the bright side of life"
"Decomposing Composers"
"Male member song (title edited for the young, hehe)"
"Money song"
"I like Chinesse" They only come up to your knees. Their cute and their cudly and their willing to please. I like Chinese food. The waiters, never are rude. (Guess what I have running through my head for the rest of the day now)

I introduced my DH to Monty Python when he came to the states.  Then, we went through a spell where all we wanted to do was rent all the "Fawlty Towers" episodes and watch them over and over again.  I think "The Germans" was my favorite episode.

I must admit that "The Life of Brian" is my least favorite of all the Monty Python offerings.  Otherwise, I pretty much like anything that John Cleese has been in.

I love Monty Python, our local PBS started showing Monty Python's Flying Circus back in the early 70's and I've been hooked ever since...
