Mark Dale and Sarah Raley
 
Hometown: Valley Lee, Maryland  
Bride's occupation: Director of sales of a major hotel chain  
Groom's occupation: General Manager of a health club  
Bride's age: 23  
Groom's age: 26  
Time together: They've been a couple for just over six years.
Engagement date: September 13, 2004  
Why she's the one: "Sarah helped me realize that it's okay to open up and let love in. She's helped me through my hardest times and she is the reason for my best times."
Why he's the one: "I watched him take care of his mother as she lost her battle to cancer and saw his devotion and unconditional love, and it's the same kind of love that he shows me."  
 
It's usually a social taboo for a senior to date a freshman, especially in high school. For Mark and Sarah, this rule still held true. Although all the girls had a crush on Mark during high school, Sarah wasn't interested in Mark's ladies' man image. After Mark graduated, he would run into Sarah at the gym and would pursue her casually with poems and love notes to which Sarah never responded. Finally, Mark stopped playing games and showed Sarah his sincere and genuine side -- a side that stole Sarah's heart.  
 
When they finally started dating, tragedy hit both families. Sarah witnessed Mark carrying his mother to the beach so she could put her feet into the water one last time before succumbing to breast cancer. Watching this, Sarah knew Mark was the one for her. And before Mark's mother passed, she told Mark not to let this girl go.  
 
As the relationship grew stronger, tragedy tested their love once again. Sarah's father was struck with cancer for a second time. He's still fighting and Sarah hopes that this time around, the story will have a happy ending.
 
When Sarah graduated from college, she and Mark took a trip to France. On the last day of their trip, Mark popped the question, twice, since he was so nervous. The ring was in his sock. While he was busy getting it out, a flock of white doves just happened to take flight in front of them.  
 
People say there are moments in life where you just know you're meant to be together forever, for Mark and Sarah, they've shared a few of these moments already and can't wait to spend the rest of their lives creating more.

So far it looks as if the Today Show is on a "tight"
