Bice off ‘Idol’ tour after surgery
Singer had blockage in his intestines
 
Bo Bice will be recuperating at home for at least six weeks.

"American Idol" runner-up Bo Bice had emergency surgery for a blockage in his intestines, and won't be returning to the "Idol" tour.
 
According to a note on his band's Web site, Sugarmoney.net, Bice "has successfully undergone an emergency medical procedure that was urgently needed to save his life." At first the site said that Bice would be resting at home for at least six weeks, but it has now been edited to remove any reference to the amount of time Bice would need to recuperate.
 
TVGuide.com reports that Bice was rushed to the hospital before Thursday's "American Idols Live" concert in Las Vegas. The tour will continue without Bice, making stops on the West Coast, in the Midwest, and on the East Coast before ending Sept. 10.

Without it being printed in the newspaper, I'm fairly  
sure I know the type of surgery he had performed.  
It was and is a serious surgery.
 
LL, I read this article this morning and  
started to post it, but knew you'd want to!
