Ashton Kutcher and Demi Moore are now husband and wife. The star couple were married Saturday night at their home in Beverly Hills, a source confirms to PEOPLE.

Moore, 42, and Kutcher, 27, exchanged vows in front of 100 guests, including Demi's daughters, actress Soleil Moon Frye and her husband Jason Goldberg (who is Kutcher's Punk'd producing partner), as well as other close friends and family.

"They are so happy together," says a source close to the couple.

The ceremony came together at the last minute; final preparations were completed within 24 hours. "It was a Kabbalah ceremony," according to a source.

The couple's rep declined to comment.

This is the first marriage for Kutcher and the third for Moore, whose previous unions to rock musician Freddie Moore (1980-84) and to actor Bruce Willis (1987-2000) ended in divorce.

Kutcher and Moore initially met at a casual dinner in New York City in 2003. After the That '70s Show star began dating Moore that May, he quickly carved out a place in the lives of her three daughters by Willis Rumer, 17; Scout, 14; and Tallulah, 11 who came to embrace Kutcher as a third parent, affectionately calling him MOD, short for "My Other Dad."

"We talk about everything," said Kutcher of his close ties to the young women. "It's amazing."

In February, Moore and Kutcher who spend most of their time in Los Angeles slipped away to Cabo San Lucas, Mexico, to celebrate Valentine's Day at a resort overlooking the ocean. The getaway sparked rumors that Kutcher proposed (wrong) and that the duo eloped (wrong again).

They've also long fended off rumors that Moore was pregnant. "Why am I the last person to find out everything?" Kutcher joked to reporters last spring, as British tabloids announced that Moore was to be a mom again. "I'm going to be a daddy? God, no one tells me anything."

At the time, Moore's rep denied the pregnancy report but acknowledged: "Having another child is something Demi would like to do." During an appearance on David Letterman, Kutcher also said he "absolutely" wants to have kids.

As for the key to the couple's blissful bond, they curb their negative emotions a basic tenet of the pair's Kabbalah beliefs and they are also always up-front with each other. "When I'm putting up a front, she calls me on it," Kutcher told Oprah Winfrey in April. "And I call her on her crap."

Also on Oprah, Kutcher expressed his happiness with Moore saying: "I love being with her. She makes me a better person."

Ashton isn't one of my favorites, but that's OK.

These two have been together for a couple of years now, and have kept a mostly low key and out of the tabloids relationship (with the exception of the tabloids constantly speculating on whether she's pregnant or not). Her kids seem to adore and accept him and he appears to treat them very well, and all of that is important in making a marriage work. I give this couple pretty good odds at lasting at least as long as a non-hollywood marriage. It's not like they just jumped into it. Good for them!

On a similar note, the guy who plays Sayid in "Lost" is living with Barbara Hershey. He is quite a bit younger than she.

My own grandparents were proof that a younger man/older woman combination can definitely work. Wink

That's the impression I get too, they seem very comfortable with each other. The fact that he's good to her kids and they accept him goes a long ways towards making a blended family marriage work. I love that Bruce and Demi don't have a hateful or spiteful relationship to each other. My own parents were still kind to each other after the divorce and it allowed them to both be supportive of us kids together at functions and important gatherings. I respect so much that neither of my parents have said an unkind thing about the other in front of me. Its fantastic that those two can do the same for their kids. It matters so much to kids. The fact that he's friendly to and accepting of Ashton helps set the tone of how his children react to and treat Ashton too. I'll never forget one time when I was younger and I was complaining about my dad's new girlfriend and my mom not only didn't chime in with me, she just looked me in the eye and said, "If you want to like her, that's ok with me."

Not all divorced couples use their children as ping pong balls!
Only the very selfish ones do that. Children are #1.

rhune how lucky you were to have parents that remained civil to one another. My parents were married for 17 years and have been for divorced for 25 years and they still can't get along!!!! My wedding was a nightmare......at a time when I should have been blissfully happy making plans all i could do was stress about where was dad going sit etc. we even had to instruct the MC not to ask the brides parents to join us on the dance floor.....it was pure misery.

Anyway...you're right. It's fabulous to see that not only have these girls accepted Ashton but it shows just how well they have been raised by both their parents! I think this family will be quite envied in hollywood circles!

I really hope they make it. It's wonderful to see the both of them, the kids and Bruce all being a family. Compare Ashton and Demi and Tom and Katie. I saw Ashton on Oprah and she asked him about their relationship. Ashton said that Demi makes him a better person. He said it in such a quiet way. Then look at Tom jumping on couches and basically screaming. I know who in my mind I think will last.
