Angelina Jolie Expecting Baby

LOS ANGELES - Angelina Jolie is expecting a baby this summer with Brad Pitt, according to a report on the People magazine Web site.

"Yes, I'm pregnant," the magazine quoted Jolie as telling charity aid worker Monday in the Dominican Republic, where she is filming "The Good Shepherd" with Matt Damon.

The report says the pregnancy was confirmed by representatives of both stars but does not identify them by name.

The news comes one month after papers were filed to make Pitt the adoptive father of Jolie's two children. Jolie sought to change the names of the children to Zahara Jolie-Pitt and Maddox Jolie-Pitt was filed.

Pitt accompanied Jolie to Ethiopia in July to pick up Zahara, now 1 year old. Jolie's son, now 4 years old, was adopted from Cambodia.

Pitt and actress Jennifer Aniston announced their separation last January, and Aniston filed for divorce in March, citing irreconcilable differences. The divorce became final in October.

Pitt, 42, has denied Jolie, 30, was behind the split.

Jolie, a goodwill ambassador for the U.N. High Commissioner for Refugees, recently toured quake-devastated areas in Pakistan with Pitt. She met with Pakistani President Gen. Pervez Musharraf and toured a town largely destroyed by the Oct. 8 earthquake that killed an estimated 86,000 people.

I dunno...based on all the whacky-assed stuff she did with Billy Bob Thornton and the fact that she talked in one article I read about her habit of "cutting" herself for control, etc. I would say that puts her square on for a "borderline personality disorder". I hope she's had therapy, I hope she has this under control for the sake of her children. It's not fair and not ok to put them through something like that.

I have to admit I am a little surprised. I did not think she was interested in having any biological children because of her feelings about adoption and poverty.

I guess I don't care one way or the other, except as Rhune said, Angelina has had some bizarre behavior in the past, and hope she's gone past that with the help of therapy.

I think Angelina is past her crazy days, from what I see looking in. She seems to have really calmed down and seems happy with Brad and her childeren. As I said before I wish them the best.

I was being sarcastic. After all, hasn't Brad and Angelina been named the most sexiest person by People Magazine? If not, they certainly would both be up there on the list.

Despite what some people would say would characterize as a weird relationship with Billy Bob, Angelina has been quite the humanitarian around the world and a good actress.

From what I heard, Jennifer didn't want to have a child while Brad did, so it was only normal for them to split apart. Now, they can both be happy. Jennifer has already moved on with Vince Vaughn anyways.

Saw Angelina in the movie 'Hackers' last week-end. Came out in 1995. She looked great with the short hair.

Angelina is a good humanitarian, and I think what she does for people around the world is wonderful, but that does not mean she's stable and a great mom at home. I continue to hope she's had great therapy and dealt with her BPD issues.

Well, Jen Aniston refuted the rumors about her not wanting to have a kid...

It still feels weird in my mind... too soon perhaps ?! Can you believe Brad Pitt was married to Jennifer Aniston only one year ago ? Hollywood crowd sure moves on fast.

it's nice to see that the rumors that were rampant here in september/october have proven to be true...there was a lot of talk while they were in edmonton that this may be the case, esp with her resting her hand on her stomach a lot while at west edmonton mall...
