Meth Addiction Led Jodie Sweetin of 'Full House' to Live 'Double Life'
 
The actress who played cute little Stephanie Tanner on the 1990s hit sitcom "Full House" confessed yesterday to battling an addiction to methamphetamine.
 
"I was leading a total double life," Jodie Sweetin, 24, said yesterday on "Good Morning America."
 
Sweetin's drug woes were recently chronicled by the supermarket tabloids after she was seen on a three-day meth bender followed by an intervention allegedly staged by her former "Full House" co-stars, including Mary-Kate and Ashley Olsen, John Stamos and Bob Saget.
 
Her drug problem also wrecked her three-year marriage to a Los Angeles cop, who she says was not aware of her dangerous habit.
 
"I was married to a police officer — we are going through a divorce right now — he had no idea," Sweetin says.
 
The former child star said she began experimenting with meth about two years ago because she was bored and unemployed. Before she knew it, she was addicted to the powerful central-nervous-system stimulant.
 
Last March, Sweetin checked into an intense, six-week rehab clinic and says she's been clean ever since. Now she's trying to get her career back on track.
 
"I want to make movies, TV series, wherever the career takes me," she says. "I really hope this isn't the last people hear of me. In fact, I would like to make this a footnote in my career, not the end."
 
When "Full House" ended in 1995, Sweetin went on to high school and later college, but had a hard time trying to become a normal kid, she says.
 
"There's a certain sense of loss when a series ends," she says. "It is kind of hard to figure out who you are when you've lost you're job when you're 13, when that was basically how you identified yourself."

Haha, I guess no one cares about the middle child.
 
But I have to say Ashley and Mary Kate Olsen have it made with their multi milllion dollar empire.

I honestly wasn't a watcher of this show, and am not familiar with her.  I'm sorry to hear she became a drug addict, and I hope she gets better.

I guess I kind of grew up on that show.  TGIF!!
 
But yeah, she looks well on her way to recovery.  She's been clean since she entered rehab.
