Ft. Worth, Tx- Two women say they were sexually assaulted in separate back rooms at a tattoo shop after an artist told them he would do the tattoos for free, police said Tuesday. There could be more victims, police said Tuesday. "We just want to be sure that if there are other victims that they contact us," said Larry Irving, a spokesman for the Police Department. Police arrested Chapman Edward Swindell, 26, of Springtown in March on suspicion that he assaulted the women in February. He was free Tuesday on a $40,000 bond. Swindell could not be reached for comment Tuesday. He was fired from Mild II Wild soon after his arrest, said Cameron Jones, an artist at the business. Police began an investigation Feb. 28, when the two Dallas women, who went to the shop together, reported that they were assaulted at Mild II Wild Tattoos & Body Piercing Shop. The women, both 22, told police that they had asked for a tattoo on their right hips. The women were led to separate, private rooms, where they say they were sexually assaulted, according to police reports. The women left the business together, drove a short distance away and called police. After a four-week investigation, police arrested Swindell on March 31, at a Texas Department of Public Safety office where he was renewing his driver's license, authorities said. Swindell had worked at Mild II Wild for about six months. "In no way do we condone what happened," Jones said. "As soon as we found out more information, he was fired."
