Cars that run on water!

This guy is featued in a video on CNN today, but I watched the video a couple days ago when it came round in e-mail.

Here's a link to the official website:
http://hytechapps.com/

This stuff looks incredible!  I sure hope it's not bought up by some big car company and then buried.  He developed the technology to make a safer working environment for people working with metal (welders, etc.), but when gas prices went up they built a car engine that runs on it, and so far it's passed all saftey inspections.  Right now they are doing it as a hybrid, but he says they can make one that doesn't use any gasoline at all, just runs on pure water.  Apparently the military has commissioned him to make some for them.  Smart!

I thought someone had invented this many years ago. (Like around 30 or so.)  The only problem was that the guy sold the patent to some big oil company or car company where it was promptly locked up and shelved.

This is something the oil company would pay HUNDREDS of MILLIONS to keep off the market, so the only way we're ever gonna see it is if some rich anti-oil mogul throws it out there for us lowly consumers. Undecided

While we're on the subject, here's something else that oil companies have buried.  I haven't brought this up yet because I wanted to try it out myself.  If you visit the links below, you'll read up on how adding a small amount of common Acetone to your fuel can, in most cases, give you better gas mileage and performance.  We did a news story here at the TV station on this and I tried this myself.  I'm averaging between 20 and 30 miles per tank MORE mileage when I use it.  Plus my car runs better, has cleaner exhaust and after close to a year of using this, has shown NO evidence of engine damage.  Research this for yourself starting with the links below before you do anything and do this at your own risk.  I'm just saying that for me, this has worked very well.  You're welcome.  Smiley

There was a man here in the Philippines who had claimed to have invented a water-powered engine a few years ago. The Department of Science and Technology did not believe him. I don't know if the Department ever ran tests on the said engine, and I remember the inventor saying foreign companies were interested in buying his engine. Today there's no news of him so I wonder what happened to his invention and if it was really true.
