Florida Lady Missing From RC Cruise Ship

Authorities were investigating the disappearance of a Florida woman from a cruise ship sailing along the coast of Italy, relatives said.

Family members identified the woman as Elizabeth Kay Galeana, 22, of Naples, Fla., reported missing Tuesday from Royal Caribbean's Voyager of the Seas.

Royal Caribbean confirmed only that the missing woman was from the United States and would not identify her, spokesman Michael Sheehan said Saturday.

The ship was en route to Naples, Italy, from the port of Civitavecchia, near Rome, according to Royal Caribbean.

Galeana was last seen on the ship around 12:30 a.m. Tuesday, according to the company. She was reported missing by her sister about seven hours later, and several onboard announcements and searches were carried out, the company said.

Italian authorities conducted air and sea searches but had called off their efforts.

Galeana is the daughter of Frank Galeana, owner of the Galeana Automotive Group dealership in Florida, South Carolina and Michigan.

"We know that she is missing, but that's really all we know," John Scanlan, a sales manager at Galeana Chrysler and Jeep in Fort Myers, told The Associated Press on Saturday.

A woman who answered the phone at the Michigan home of Frank Galeana declined comment.

NOTE:  Another person missing from RC's Cruise Ship
on a Mediterranean Cruise is certainly NOT good for
the cruises going along that route at all!
It's time they Cruise Ships step up their security!
Wasn't it only 2 years ago a new Groom disappeared
on this same cruise line also, maybe the same ship!

2nd NOTE by Poster:
Is there a terrorist group that follows these ships around?
Could it be a serial killer who transfers from ship to ship?
Three different Cruise Ships of Roayl Carribean?
Could it be someone who is wanting to sabotage this Cruiseline?

What is the answer?  What do you think?

We love to cruise, but also don't stay up all night drinking or getting too chumy with people we just met!
Our Dinner table is time for talking to strangers!
I never get close enough to the edge to fall over!
If I'm ever missing, know that someone pushed me overboard, for I sure won't go on my own!!!  :yikes:

These events are strange and scarey, to say the least.    In any case, anyone who gets drunk on a cruise ship could be fair game for a thief, pervert or serial killer.  There is just as much chance of a deviant being on board a ship, as there is anywhere else.   I also think women especially, need to watch their drinks to be sure nothing is put in it.    They need undercover police on board or better security.

This should wake ALL Cruise Lines UP!
IF this last disappearance doesn't what will it take?
They will keep folling around until our Government gets involved.
How would they like it IF the USA refused them admittance to our ports?
Better Security onboard or else!  It will come to this, if something isn't done!
