Nuclear threat

The United States should not enter a war unless it is willing to use the atomic bomb. It did so in Korea and Vietnam. 90,000 lives were lost. 2,700 lives have now been lost in Iraq. This must end. North Korea has tested a nuclear weapon and stated that U.N. sanctions are a declaration of war. The United States must fortify itself against nuclear threat. North Korea as well as Iran must understand they face massive retaliation if they start a nuclear war. They face annihilation as Japan would have had it not heeded the warning of Harry Truman.

Iran is headed in the direction of nuclear weapons. There are 30 nuclear sites around Iran. Ahmadinejad, the Iranian leader, has ignored requirements set forth by the United Nations. It may be imperative that the United States bomb Iranian nuclear sites in 2007. Secretary of State Rice may assume Colin Powell's role in issuing the ultimatum.

Don't like where your thought process is headed, Jim.  If we drop the big one on ANYONE, then EVERYONE with like technology would reciprocate.  Then all humans go bye-bye.

Nope...not likin' that at all!

Not trying to be rude at all, but I'm really thankful that you're not a high level position political leader...

I say we send in "The Unit" along with Jack Bower.  They'll know what to do in this situation.

For goodness! "The United States should not enter a war unless it is willing to use the atomic bomb."

What's the use of the United Nations when United States go to war and use the atomic bomb on North Korea when North Korea hasn't really done any damage to their neighbouring countries YET?

Do you know how many lives will be lost? The US should not enter the war AT ALL unless North Korea do use their nuclear weapons, but hopefully that won't happen forever. What's important know is to slap the idea of using the nuclear weapon from the minds of North Korea's leaders and to get them agree on a peace agreement.

People are still discussing now whether America's dropping of the atomic bomb on Hiroshima during the WWII is right or wrong, and dropping another one when North Korea hasn't done anything like Japan did is ridiculous. Angry

Actually, it was a race to see who would invent it first.  If the USA hadn't, another country would have with maybe more devastating results.
