Hi from Toronto.  Happy Labor/Labour Day.  Another lovely day for the International Air Show.  That's three days ina row.  Fabulous with the British Red Arrows and the Canadian Snowbirds precision flight teams.  We were at the CNE on Saturday.  Great day and Wednesday went on the roller coaster 4 times!  :yikes:

LOL - no there was no  :barf: just a lot of smiling.  I just want to say that although she went on the roller coaster (kiddie version - there were 2 different ones), she mentioned the word roller coaster oh 25 times (seemed like a thousand Wink ).    the funny part was there was this lovely little ferris wheel that all three of us could have done on together but she kept saying " I am scared, it's too high".  Even though mom and dad were going to be with her.  no amount of cajoling could get her on that ferris wheel.

She went on everything else though, including the go karts and those swings plus all the tame stuff.  She was a bit scared on the slide but her dad went down beside her and it was fine.  Seems she is developing her mother's fear of heights.

At the end of the day on the way back to the car she negotiated "just one more" ride.  It was a slow time and the fellow operating the ride left them on these swings for  a really long time.  He would speed them up and then slow them down for a break and then pick  up speed again.  At the end of the ride Wednesday (who had been screaming faster faster faster) was nearly passed out with exhaustion.  By the time my husband had her over his shoulder, she was sound asleep.

EEG - that's coold news about your uncle.   What a great job.

I don't blame her one bit...I hate the ferris wheel!  They always seem so rickety to me, and they stop you at the top to let people on or off as it's going round....it just feels like 1 pin pops out and the whole thing will go down faster than a lincoln log house.  I'll ride any rollercoaster...the higher the better, but you can't force me kicking and screaming onto the ferris wheel.  Grin

I had a wonderful labour(labor) day! I didn't even get dressed! The most labour that I did was have a shower and eat. My Sweetie was also off for the day and we played one of our fav. old video games. I hope that everyone else had a fun day! Grin
