as you likely all know, or should know, I am a tad on the older side for being the mom of a 4 year old.  So when I went to pick up my daughter from school one day last week a boy pipes up and asks in a rather loud voice,  
"Is that your grandma?"
 
Sigh - I don't feel like I look like a grandma.  LOL

Oh, no................LOL, sorry, but it brought a chuckle this morning.  I wouldn't worry about it too much.  In the eyes of a 4 year old, anyone over the age of 30 probably looks like they could be someone's grandmother.  Remember it is illegal to  :punch: a 4 year old.  :hug:

Now, do you think I should mention this to the boy's mother? I think I know who she is  :devil:  You know just in passing for fun at the BBQ this Thursday night.

LOL Addams, how well do you like his mother - or not?  Grin I guess it's all perspective, as Irish said. From my perspective, you're a spring chicken LOL.  
 
Rhune I married a younger guy too, 18 years ago. I've been waiting for that comment you refer to all these years, but so far I've been lucky - he's going gray first.  :devilish:

:hug:  perhaps if the little boy's mom was a baby when she had him then you could be the age of his grandmother who had his mom at 16! Lips Sealed  (i am so bbbbbbaaaaaaaaadddddd!)  but you didn't and many women wait until their mid thirties or forties to have children.  i bet you are a great mother addams!  :tup:

addams.. i am waiting for that moment too.. i was 42 when i had alec.. he is not in kindergarten yet but i am sure it will happen when he starts Wink i am all ready for it..just know there are a ton of us old timers out there with little ones :winking:  hugs for you    :hug:

Addams, I have an aunt who had her first baby at 30.  Well, she went gray very prematurely, and a lady told her that her grandson was just precious.  She saw red, but has been covering her gray for 12 years now.  Just thought I'd let you know it can happen to younger mom's too.
