Well here it is in a nutshell. I have always bought her these really lovely black leather recital shoes. The last pair I struggled to find the perfect shoe with velcro straps. I founnd it! I was so proud.

However, at these recitals the 4 year olds play very few pieces. They spend most of their time on stage looking cute - and bored.

I have had hilarious and :yikes:

experiences in the past with Wednesday taking her shoes on and off during the performance. The velcro straps are really long and they make :yikes:

sounds when the music is usually quiet and beautiful.

This time i pre-empted and she was putting up a fuss anyway about the shoes and I said - no problem - no shoes. LOL.

Anyone want a pair of girls beautiful soft leather black shoes size 11 with velcro straps -retail new at 75 dollars Canadian (sigh). We do wear them to church and anywhere else I can fit them in. LOL

PS her fave colour is actually Blue LOL - if the popsicles were ALL blue she would buy the blue ones but she won't eat the red and white of those three colour ones.

PS2 during this particular recital in her 'non-playing times' she was practising making fish lips, stretching, waving to folks unknown in the audience, and much to my surprise listening to the music around her. That last one was a first LOL.

That is a privilege which so far she has only offered to you, my friend. :rolling eyes:

No flirtations. But she seems to have a little crush on one of the boys in her JK class. Last night at the BBQ she was so excited to point him out to me. He's a cutie too.
