In my never ended quest to own my own business and become an inventor, my husband and I are going to be opening the Texas Balloon Depot. As my luck would have it, we are in an temporary hold. Evidently someone else in my town thought opening a party supply store we be a good business and his is due to open next month. Depending on his inventory, thats going to be the factor as to whether I continue with my plans for our business.

Texas Balloon Depot is a party supply store also selling balloon bouques and doing balloon decorating. My husband and I have both started working our units in order to become a certified balloon artist.

I'll know by next month how that other store looks. I think we'll still be able to open. We have been looking at the end of January to have the store running.

Just about everything is lined up. Our assumed name has been filed at the courthouse, final touches to the business plan are being completed and all the distributors are lined up awaiting orders.

I'll let everyone know how it turns out.

We have two balloon party places in our neighbourhood right across the street from each other. Competition is sometimes I good thing. I wish you and your husband all the best and look forward to the "grand opening!" :tup:
