Eastend Girl - Where are you?

Did you get your computer up and running again?  I thought that you had but then you have been so quiet lately.

I think you gave above and beyond during BB3 and have earned a well deserved rest from this addiction - but  I would sorely love to hear that you are OK.

hey peoples!

i am back!  i was at a wedding in penticton, bc.  my cousin got married.  i had a hard time last week with my ongoing drug side effects and life circumstances and so was not online much.  i am in the process of devesting myself of stuffmes...sold my grandmother's bedroom set and other larger items (my couch, a gross press board desk, etc....) in order to be able to fit into a co-op studio in the new year.  i have been carrying around far too much stuff!  10 moves in five years of graduate work has been crazy!  my mom is here to help me and then in the meantime, i will stay with her and my puppybear, frosty, who is now on my lap...funnily enough, hector wants to be on my lap right now too...anyway, nights have still been hard for me (including thoughts of suicide), i may have to change my meds again and it is just not safe for me to be alone.

i dislike sharing this with all of you but feel strongly that this depth of mental illness needs to be made known.  especially since, if you were my acquaintance in rl, you would never know.  mental illness is so easily hidden.

Thanks for checking in eeg.  Sorry to hear about your ongoing struggle with mental health, but I think you are such a smart cookie to be able to recognize all of the hurdles that you face and that you reach out for help.

I just want to let you know that I think you are one tough girlie and no matter how hard things get, I know that you will perservere and succeed.

So, just know that you are always missed when you are away and that you have my thoughts and prayers, always.  You are loved by many   and anytime you need a hug, you should know that you can count on us.

Love ya,
Kramer

I think the greatest thing about you is that you keep trying no matter what.  You haven't given up, you try a new medication or a new therapy, or whatever.  You are so strong it's amazing.  :grouphug:

I don't know if I have mentioned it before (likely in a PM) but you are an inspiration to me.  I am glad your mom is with you and I want you to know that we are always there for you too in spirit.

Just remember that we are always, always here for you.  I am continually amazed at how strong you are (sometimes I think you might not be aware of it - but we all are!) and how courageous you are.  Keep up the fight - and good luck with the medication change.

Lots of hugs and love   :grouphug:  Tongue

addams ~ stuffme/es, thingme/es, a term used to refer to anything that you are unable to lodge from the tip of your tongue.  i.e. can you pass me that thingme/stuffme? this would refer to anything from a pencil to a bookcase, a salami sandwich to a plant.

as for me,  Cry  Smiley  Cry thank you peoples for the love and support.  i had a rather hard morning moving more stuffmees and it was somewhat overwhelming.  my mom thinks that i have too much stuffmees.  when she went to pick up a foot and a half tall by a foot wide box, i told her to be careful as that box was worth $20,000.  she  Shocked and asked what it was ~ it's my notes from graduate school... :freak: :dizzy:  it's all so crazy.  while i have gotten rid of tons of very important things, there seems to be more and more.   :dizzy:  i am definitely in need of a long nap... :snore:

thanks amazing incredible people,

k-a

K-A will you please come to Toronto and help Addams with her stuffmes - I think we would need about 1 month straight hard labour.

Maybe I will call my mom.  Great idea  :sunny:

hey peoples!

again thank you for your kind words (good to meet you tinkerbell!)...i finally completed the house exit and clean up today.  the girls in the basement suite below me (where i used to live...the place with no light) where kind enough to take the majority of my large items that where left including my tv and vcr which they will use in their bedroom!  (in exchange, i gave them my couch and also my sunshine self portrait ~ black hole sun) only my mattress (a 25 dollar value village find) and a geriatric chair (sniff, sniff) made their way to the garage.  i am sooooooo exhausted.  my whole body is deadness.  although things went slowly thanks to my health, i am happy with what we did without a truck or van.  tomorrow we travel north to the land of snow and more snow ~ prince george.  i am still a wee bit apprehensive but know that i need the support.  BUT eight hours in the car with a poodle on my lap and my kitty cat in a box!

on a side note, i am now anti-depressant free for six days...i was getting sick and tired of being sick, tired and suicidal on that drug!  i have been relying on b12, good friends and vanilla coke to get me through the week.  i am uncertain if i will be able to stay med free but am hoping to do more natural healing thingmees  :winking: again to treat the depression.

well, i had better head off to bed...after i check out the spoilers!
