It's finally here - the annual Grey Cup Canadian Football League Championship Game. It's being held in Edmonton - which I think must be the professional football team closest to the north pole. I guess that's why they are called the Edmonton Eskimos. The opposing team (and in my opinion the likely winners but the game has not started yet) are the Montreal Alouettes. The Alouettes were a long standing of Montreal then they folded and more recently were revived and now find themselves a huge success. Quite honestly the CFL was not the same without the Alouettes. Now a few of you may remember when the CFL had some American teams. I guess that didn't exactly work out. Nonetheless I would bet you could find a Grey Cup party in most American cities today. I know my sister and her husband are going to one in the Denver area.
