Rough Weather Ahead

There are major thunderstorms, and possible tornadoes headed my way.  It's at Dallas right now, and half-way between me and Dallas is Crypto.  She's probably just about to get it big time.  My husband and I got out earlier and took all of the christmas decorations off of the house, and out of the yard.  Everything's packed away til next year, and I guess I'm ready for whatever Mother Nature has planned for me tonight.  Not looking forward to it though.  For everyone on the East Coast who's gonna have this tomorrow night.....I'll let you know how it goes.

Looks like most the bad weather has passed me, but the radar is looking very red around chicky's place.  There was a tornado that touched down in North Dallas just after noon today.  Who'd a thought we would be having tornados this time of year? Guess that's Texas for you.

Thank Goodness, the worst is over.  We didn't get as much as predicted, but it wasn't pretty either.  Some high wind, lot's of thunder, lightning, and rain.  The rain looks like it's here to stay a while.  To anyone expecting this mess tomorrow night, please be careful if you're going to be out on the roads.

:sweatdrop: Whew!   I've been watching this storm pattern develop for a couple of days and I've been saying lots of prayers for you guyzez!
 
When I moved back to OK. in '95, I was shocked and surprised to have tornado-type weather during Thanksgiving and Christmas.  I guess Mother Nature has her timetable mixed up  :sick:  El Nino has spawned the  :devil:
 
Pocket posted on SA that she spent some time hiding under the bed last night because of the weather drama.  Y'all be careful out there and be safe!  :grouphug:
