Let's give RHUNE a STANDING OVATION

First, for creating ForumsNet.

For all your hard work to keep this site a clean and comfortable one = Cool

For keeping a cool and level head = Cool

Especially in these last months and weeks as tensions and tempers are on edge. You are to be commended.

For keeping the Reality shows news up-to-date. With the constant changes to our favs and release of new ones - you're always on top of what's new. Cool

Special kudos go to you for keeping abreast and for bringing us the latest new on the warfront and the homefront. Cool

For all that you do as a friend..... Tongue

I totally agree. There are so many days that I feel like this place is an oasis in the desert. Thank you Rhune for keeping it that way.
I would also like to add that I have sort of been avoiding "In the News", because I keep my tv on CNN all day long. When I come here, it's to get away from all of "that" stuff. I haven't really been ignoring anyone on purpose.

I have to agree.

I am a member in at least 15 Internet Message Boards or Forums. The fact that people can speak their mind here without being flamed or belittled is awesome.

There have been disagreements between people, but in general I think most of it has led to an intelligent disagreement instead of flames or a true argument. I think that's important for a site. It probably brings us less numbers, controversy creates more posts, but I think I like the atmosphere more, even though it's a little slower in here. Thanks for this doesn't just go to me though, thanks for keeping it a mostly flame free environment go to everyone who participates as well.

Just wanted to add my own hearty thanks to a very hard working Rhune. I, like many others, think of this Forum as "home", our little "community".

It's refreshing that this Administrator provides this cyber "palette" and is content to let it's members decide how it is to be colored. As a lot of you are aware, that is not the norm at a lot of other cyber communities. At some of these other sites, you do well as long as you agree with the beliefs and opinions of the "staff", but when you disagree or challenge them, you invoke their rath. Some would say that that's OK because after all, it IS their site. While that may be so, it is to the credit of people like Rhune that this site does not push it's own agenda and allows ALL points of view, without insulting and making degrading comments about opposing points of view. My hat is off to her!

You've made a lot of other people smile Rhune. As I get older, I've thought much of the many times I didn't tell someone how I felt about them or what they did - and then it was too late.

The other day (at another site) - this "person" told me I was talking out my you-know-what. Today, another Poster was attacked. That site might have been my "home" site at one time - but eventually, everyone leaves home.

Rather than holding bitterness up to the light - I wanted to go the opposite way and let wonderful Rhune know how happy she's made a lot of people.
