planting anyone?

i finally got my herb planters and pots over from a friend's place (she wintered them for me when i was up north) and purchased a few extras to replace the dead ones.  i also plan on having too longer planters outside of the windows of my amazingly small place.  it shocks me how happy the whole planting and growing process makes me.
 
the plants that survived the winter include ~ two lavender plants, curry, oregano, rosemary, several different mints, thyme and parsley.  i purchased some basil (which cannot go outside yet), catnip, fennel, salad greens, chives and grapefruit mint.  (they were all relatively cheap)  as well as some pansies to make the pots purdy.  i will probably also look for some cheap petunias and geraniums to add to the planters.    
 
i was also given this beautiful azalea bush from a friend but have nowhere to plan it!  apparently, i can keep it inside for the summer but will have to find it an outdoor home for the fall.
 
in my best giddy voice ~ anyone else planting anything?
 
oopsie!  i so forgot that maybe of us do not live where the growing season has begun.  please forgive my thoughtlessness.  where is mzzjay when i need her?   Wink

No planting here yet.  I want to get some strawberries planted in my strawberry pot asap.  I got one for Debbie too.  After the berries finish - it's pretty to plant pansies and such in them.

Lets see.. Planted Peppers, tomatoes cabbage and beans in the veggie garden.  Also planted asparagus (won't see it for 2-3 years) and strawberries.
 
My husband does all the edibles.  He loves it.  Me I take care of the "pretties".  This year I got hanging baskets with petunias and fuscia and I am planting pansies , dahlias and geraniums. :rose:
