Well now that I have told you all about mom..I should keep you updated here....

I just got off the phone with her..more bad news. She had fallen about 2 months ago and has had a really horrible time moving every since. The hip that the stairs was really sore for weeks and it was only Friday that suddenly the other one started hurting almost worse. She went today for her chemo and they took some x-rays. They think she might have fractures. That is actually what we are praying for cause the other thing they mentioned is that she might have cancer there. They can't get her into Hanover until June 14th but she has to be there at 8:30 for an MRI. Unfortunately, this is the same weekend that my vet is working and I had to get my appt for the same time. I made her promise that she would find someone to take her over as it is about a 2 hour drive. I told her that I would give her till Saturday then I start making phone calls. We won't know what the verdict is until June 17th. I had started to check out hotels in Montreal for our weekend stay which I had intended to do June 21st..now that is all on hold.

This roller coaster ride is making me sick....

Forgive me but I'm too tired to retype this and so I'm just copying and pasting it over here from Chatter.

Forgive me for yet boring you again with more about my mom but I got to get this out of my system before I go home. I am just so angry at the people who had those stairs with no outside light. Mom sounds horrible. Her hip is really bothering her. I just talked to her for an hour tonite and she sounds tired and doped up on those pain meds. I can tell that this is wearing down her body which can't afford to be worn down much more. She told me that she has had no interest in her bird or doing much of anything. She also did not eat much all week. Sunday nite she ended up in the hospital and didn't even call me. Because her white blood count is such a concern, they told her to go there immediately if certain things happened and one of those things was her tempeture. I guess hers was high Sunday. It turned out that that part was nothing to worry about but I'm really worried about how different she sounds today compared to 2 weeks ago. She did get out to Bingo and even won 2 nites in a row but she told me that when she delivers her Avon this time, she is gonna blow her horn and have them come to the car cause she just can't walk to all those houses.

Anyway..thanks for letting me share that with you...I got to put on the positive attitude by Friday nite and it helps to do all the negative feelings now. Have I told you lately how much cancer sucks? Cry
