Wednesday knows her name and got confused

Wednesday has a series of doctor's appointments on Wednesday afternoons for the month of June to see if we can help with the drainage in her right ear and prevent further infections.  
 
When we left last week the receptionist said "See you next Wednesday" but my daughter thought the receptionist said See you Wednesday and she immediately thought the receptionist was actually speaking to her.
 
She looked up at me and looked puzzled and she said "but mom my name is Wednesday".  Oh my! LOL  
 
I explained that the receptionist had said see you next Wednesday.  
 
We giggled and hopped on the elevator.  Sometimes now she says her whole name and then adds Wednesday on the end.  
 
What have I done?!

That is so funny!  I can see how that would be very confusing - but having a cool nickname (or alter ego) is pretty neat!

she and I both know that - we are having fun with it like roo said.  
 
What really surpised me is that she responded to it since she does not interact directly on the message boards (given that she can't read more than about 15 words and her spelling is rather phonetic).  
 
I was really surprised to see her think the lady was speaking to her.
 
It's all in fun.  She's so much fun.  I just love her to pieces.
