I once took a job shortly after I had moved to a new city, and that job meant I had to park downtown and there were only meters to park at. Now, since I had just moved there and hadn't gotten paid yet, I really couldn't afford the meters, so I had to just keep getting parking tickets until I finally got paid...boy was that a mess. I had a whopping 9 tickets before I was able to get ahead... fortunately parking tickets were only $5 each there, but it was still a good chunk of change. Sad

I can sympathize with having to deal with parking tickets at any rate!

mine are $30 each (they would have been $20 but I didn't pay on time). And those are the cheap tix around here. toronto has the most fines paid for parking tix or is at least in the top three cities for all of north america. They ticket us for EVERYTHING! we call them the green hornets cuz of how they dress.

yuck...I remember well the days of college in Manchester and watching the little meter maids scurrying to ticket us college kids. I don't often go to Manchester these days and Concord has only downtown that is metered and I rarely have time to go downtown..most of the places I go are parking lots for free.
Addams..that stinks...can't imagine being hit with large ticket fines like that and I would delay paying them too.

I had just forgotten one that i put on my backseat and one of my boys found and had it in one of his drawers, I found it last week when I was cleaning. I went to the parking authority to pay it, only to find out i had to go to the magistrates office because they had put a warrent out for me ( for a ticket for crying out loud Angry

needless to say I am much more careful now!!! Wink

NOW MIND YOU I WAS SPEEDING IN AN AREA WHERE THERE IS NO NEIGHBORHOOD AND HE JUST DID NOT GET IT THAT I WAS KEEPING UP WITH THE TRAFFIC!
