by a possible new client the following question,  
 
" How do I protect this idea I have developed for a new reality television show "?
 
We discussed the options for patenting television game shows and otherwise I don't know much about how to approach television producers etc.  But I thought I might ask if anyone else has had experience in this area.
 
Such a show is likely patentable subject matter in the United States but not in Canada.  I am not sure about Europe or Australia which are other popular markets.  
 
But I did tell him I am a fan of some reality TV shows :laff:
 
Just had to share.

no sneak previews!!! if it's to be patented it must be kept secret until an application is filed.  that is the FIRST RULE of Patenting.
