Yes..we need lots of prayers..Surgery is a must and will happen Monday whether we have the seat belts on or not. Mom is the highest risk patient that there is...and we have been warned over and over today that though they are going to do everything they can, they are not sure she will make it through this surgery. She is at huge risk of another heart attack and her body is very weak. They are taking all the precautions they can. If she does, it appears her cancer has spread and has developed a tumor that has blown a hole in her rectum. She is going in for a colostomy to buy some more time at a decent quality of life.
It is all in God's hands right now. I will be very absent but will be in touch with at least one of you to tell you what is going on.

That was all Wings initiative. With today being Sunday your mom will be included in prayers at our church. In this regard I have sent you a PM. My heart and prayers are with you and your mom and your entire family during this difficult time. In particular I pray for the surgeons and doctors that god will guide their hands as best as is humanely possible - and maybe a bit more.

If there is anyone in particular that you wish prayers for please let me know so that I can include them in our prayer tree and prayer cycle.

We need a real miracle here, Dear Lord. We pray for Gloria and all her doctors and medical teams that their hands are guided correctly and quickly for this repair. We pray that there is no infection at the damaged site and after surgery, that she has very little pain - and that she heals beautifully.
