ok here goes...not so much things like spiders and snakes and stuff - but here's the one time when i was the most scared...

I had landed in Tokyo on a friday evening...It took me 2 hours to get through immigration at the airport...and another 2 hours to get to my hotel...I knew no one...and I couldn't speak the language...and wasn't sure where to go for food (most hotels there don't have restuarants)... I remember walking around at 11pm in downtown Shinjuku (perhaps one of the busiest parts of Tokyo) by myself and wondering what the hell possessed me to go there with no friends, no family and no job...I finally found a mcdonalds...figured i'd get a taste of home to relax me but it was bizarre food even there!...then got accosted by two drunk businessmen and ran back to the hotel...I almost called it quits that night and wanted to give up b/c of my fear...but I'm glad I didn't

Thats easy when I took kids and left my ex wife she had abused kids and me for over ten years and I knew what had to be done but it was still scary! Now I have the most wondeful woman in the world who is both the wife and woman of my dreams but the perfect Mother to the children. She is The Mother the children never had! But it was truly the scaiest thing i ever did but the best thing as well!

Hats off to you David. My cousin, an attorney, gained custody for a man years ago, and the wife had to pay child support for the same thing. This was before husbands having much rights as to keeping the children and support were hardly heard of!

I think one of my most scared times was when I was much younger, slimmer and prettier and this fellow followed me home for miles across the city on several modes of public transit and only got off the bus when I jumped off at the last second. He was watching me the whole time and I was really scared. I knew I couldn't go to my apartment building so I decided at the last minute to bang on the bus door and the driver fortunately let me back on. I told him what happened and he kept me on the bus until the police could escort mehome.

As long as I have my wonderful companion dog, I don't scare too much..but she did stop me from being attacked when she was younger. I still had the roommate but we had moved to another town. The neighbor was seemingly a nice guy. He was married and expecting and treated both my roommate and I very well. Well apparently he decided to get a crush on me and I was stupid enough not to realize it. He took me to mine for gold one Saturday and allowed Shadow to come. I thought he was acting strange but he didn't try anything that day. Then Labor day weekend, I was forced to work long hours at a job I hated while we barcoded the entire mortgage file room and I was really irritated on Sunday when I came home. He was home alone too and came in my yard to join me in my barbecue and to drink a few alcoholic drinks with me. He got extremely drunk and I got quite toasted and the next thing I knew he was trying to push me against the wall while he was pulling down his pants. Let me tell you, no one better mess with me as long as Shadow is around. She had always liked Joe but she immediately slammed him and knocked him to the ground, growling the whole time and showing her teeth. I ran inside and called her in and slammed and locked the door. I was shaking like a leaf and never hugged Shadow as hard as I did that day. She has always been a problem dog but due to that one nite, I swore I would always put up with whatever she did and I have..she is now 12 years old and I still don't think you would want to mess with me around my aging dog...

well... me.. i don't exactly remember the day I got most scared.. except maybe in one nightmare that I had...

I dreamt at first that I with my sister was watching a movie, then suddenly something broke loose.. somelike like a fire I think... then I awoke that I was in a hospital with somebody I know beside me... then, a doctor came to check me.. but I noticed that it was a 'manananggal' (a half-lady vampire with big bat wings).. we run outside the hospital and noticed that outside was my grandma's house.. there it tried to kill us until I was awakened in the morning.. I was scared to death by that nightmare that I was breathing hard when I awoke with trickles of sweat on my forehead... never had I had a dream like that... and haven't watch a monster film that night... Grin

well that's it...

ok, so when i was in high school, our drama club went to london. one night, two friends and i decided to go to a midnight showing of the "Rocky Horror Picture Show". Well, by the time they did all the usual crazy rituals surrounding that movie, and showed the film, it didn't end until after three in the morning, and we were among hundreds of people looking for a cab. all of the sudden a man came up to us and asked if we were looking for a cab. we said yes and followed him to his car. ah, the stupidity of the young. we told him our hotel and got in. of course at this point we realize this is NOT a legal cab...and that we are thousands of miles from home, and NO ONE knew where we were. the guy drives extremely erratically, and iwe are sure we are goign to die. i was grippign the door handle just in case i needed to jump out of the car. well, needless to say, i am still alive, so our fears were unfounded, but i was certain that would lead to my untimely death. so lesson: don't take ride from men who come up to you in dark alleys.
