Many of you have asked about my Daughter, Brooke's EEG yesterday. First of all it was only a precautionary test to completely rule out seizures etc. for about 8 weeks now she has had a (sometimes violent) head twitch. Possible sources alegeries (shampoo) Head lice, nervous twitch and of course some kind of seizure. Nothing thus far as suggested she is having anykind of seizures but EEG will help prove that. We washed her hair with different shampoo and even wash her head with Lice shampoo as well to be sure. Her head twitching has decreased alot and our strong concerns have also reduced! I might add at about 6 years old (she is 8 now) she had an eye twitich which went away after a few months so this maybe the samething. Results from EEG will be sent to DR and we will have results in about a week I will know more than and will let you all know. It warms mine and my wife's heart to read all your concerns and well wishes let me tell you all now THANK YOU and bless your hearts. My comment on test was first posted on Today I..... and it was only meant as general post since noone including DR is too worried about her especially since it has decreased so much already. I had no idea of the outpour of concern from your warm hearts and again Pilar and I thank you all it is a true Gift from GOD to have you all as friends! BLESS YOU ALL Kiss

I think whenever a child is involved...you can never take enough precautions. Also who would ever want a child to suffer? I'm glad that things seem to be decreasing...

David, Good Luck to your little daughter on the tests.  Being a Mother, I well understand the worry.  My tiny daughter, all 90 lbs of her, had back surgery just before her 18th birthday.  I had a marathon headache for weeks worrying about her and the surgery and her recovery.  Our children aren't supposed to have medical problems.
 
Prayers to you and your family!

I'm still worried David - it's the "mom" in me.  What I don't understand is - has Brooke been scratching her head or complained in anyway that something is bothering her?
 
And your surprise at our out-pouring of love and concern for your daughter - well, it's not a new thing around here.  We're sort of a type of "family".

I agree but I thought since even Dr doesnt feel its a serious problem that I wouldnt gt this much attention i was pleasantly surprise and yes I know we are family here. Thank you all again I will update you all when we know more
