It's a warm and fuzzy feeling when you're a member of a board that is continually receiving kudos for its friendliness, openess and honestly.

I wanna tell you something girlfriend. I have NEVER felt so welcome ever to join another board. I have been stiffed so bad over at *deleted* that I am sick to my stomach, But know that you and others here are my friends and that means the world to me. Here I feel wanted and can be myself and not have to worry with conforming to something I am not. And I sense we have alot in commom. Now, mind you, while this is a private message to moi, it speaks to Forums as a whole - our Admins, mods, posters and....well, everything here.

i think we just have to be very careful about publishing anything that might be considered personal information

I enjoyed the well-deserved compliments about Rhune's site but I felt a bit uncomfortable about the fact that the person's views of ahem/hiccup had been published here. If the person agrees I think it is fine but otherwise I think we should treat an IM as if the person had chosen not to post it publicly.

Okay, ya'll. I am the one who sent MzWings the PM. I want it known to all of ya'll that I love your board. I have been posting a long time at other boards. But yours is like no other. As a conservative Christian person who hails from the south, I find it hard to fit in at other places. I find myself being lowered to the standards of others if you will...and I am done with it. In the future, I want to contribute more here and get to know you all better. I consider you all my new family.

Not to mention, I love your econs and can use as many as I want. So here goes...

Grin, I'm glad to hear you like our site. I personally love the kind of diversity we have on our site with our beliefs and backgrounds, and the fact that we can disagree and put forth both sides of an argument here without really fighting or getting upset at each other. Ok, occasionally people have gotten upset at each other, but we all worked it out afterward. Wink

At any rate, I think our diversity and our maturity in disagreements is what makes this community great and the site as a whole great. Thank you all for being a part of this site and a part of that attitude.
