Clever Idea

A friend of mine just announced his engagement and wedding date, which will not be until next spring.  They sent out a little notice annoucing it and saying "official invitation to follow" and inside the little announcement was a refridgerator magnet with their names and wedding date on it.  I just wanted to say that I thought this was very clever, cause I'm never gonna remember what the date is this far back, and an invitation is a thing that in a house with two little kids, is not likely to survive that long.  I know that we won't lose the magnet and it, and in the meantime it's helpful, holding up one of my son's drawings.  I'm wishing I had refridgerator magnets for more things!

while "save-the-date" cards aren't a new idea - the fridge magnet is a GREAT take on it!!

Very clever indeed!  One could do birth announcement magnets too......I could think of a dozen difference ideas for this.
