I have to assume you are probably Lauren, since you've used a different name here.  If that's the case, I can try to answer this.
 
In the beginning you posted a few oddball threads and we DID reply to them, but instead of replying back, you just kept making new threads each time.  Some of them were things like I will answer your questions and give advice, but you're posting from an unregistered account and no one knows you at all, so you can't expect people to take that seriously and pour out their hearts to you.  Then you started posting even stranger things like asking people to give you their made up languages.  Now I am sure there are people out there that have made up languages, but I don't think most people have.  It seems like you've made several single posts, and never bothered to read or respond to any of the replies made to them, and that you have not made any effort to try to really interact with us and get to know us, and then get upset because no one has gotten to know you.  What kinds of stuff do we respond to?  My suggestion is look around, try joining some existing threads and you'll see what our community is about.

I totally agree with Rhune that you ARE probably Lauren.  In one of her posts she referred to her pugs and Rhune suggested to check out eastendgirl's website about and for pugs.
 
Also, I am one of the people who directly responded to Lauren's posts.  BUT - she didn't bother to notice....and continued to start new threads.  Oh well........

Lauren - we're pretty much a group of nice people here at Forums.  We try to play fair and don't like to hurt anyone's feelings.  
 
You posted a thread wondering and asking what our interests are.  Oh gosh!  We're a group of people from all over the world.  We like to learn and hear how they live and what they like to do.  Basically what I've learned is, that regardless of where we all live or go to work or school - we're pretty much the same.
 
We wake up with the same sun and go to bed with same moon each day.  Most of us have families we love - same with friends.  Our members have had a few babies and grandchildren, etc. and we celebrated here about that.  Some members here had a family member die and we grieved with them.
 
Most of us have all kinds of pets and we consider them as much of a family member as our moms or dads.  In the past we've shared our hurt and sad hearts when we lost them too.  
 
We share stories of losing jobs and finding new ones.  Of going on trips and vacations and sometimes post pictures.
 
Many of us are involved with a lot of reality shows too.  SURVIVOR is huge with us but then, so is THE AMAZING RACE, AMERICAN IDOL....this post would be too long if I listed all of them.
 
I hope I've answered a few of your questions, Lauren.   Smiley

Lauren perhaps (as mentioned) you should start by replying to threads rather than starting. MZ and Rhune are both very nice people who have been here for sometime now and yes they are right about the members here i suggest you follow thier advice

I have tried to be patient, but I feel it's time to let you know where you stand.  Might I suggest that possibly this website community is just not a right fit for you.  There are many, many others out there that may be more age-appropriate for you.  
 
Many here in the community have tried to give you good advice but as of yet, you have not seen fit to take it.  If you desire to remain here, I strongly suggest that you consider carefully before you press the "POST" button again.
