Well it's been pretty quiet this week so I figured you actually made it to Florida this week.

Hope it was a great visit for you and your mom.

Welcome home.

Pretty sure she made it to FLA with her mom and all is well.  I read at another site, she had a few telecon's and was loving her time there.

I'll bet when she gets home she'll be depressed after having all that warm sunshine and being with family.  First time I went home from Maui....man, was I low.

It's always hard to come back to a grey and dark climate after being in a sunny one.

Dar will be so busy maybe she won't even notice.

Thanks for the update MzWings.

Thanks Addams and others

we did get to Florida and we had a great time. Yes I was able to keep in contact with another board through phone contact as I was having huge computer withdrawals at nite when everyone else went to bed (between 9 and 10 pm). My aunt has worked for over 27 years at the same place and is used to being up no later than  5 am and she also is used to pampering /serving everyone around her which drove me up the wall the whole week since my parents have never treated me like a child and I can't recall ever having someone who insisted upon waiting on me every second of the day.

Mom and I made it to Both Disney and Sea World and have some really special memories at Disney including some really special pictures. Sea world was just a fun time for her as I was sure it would be.

In the end my Aunt refused to talk about my dad which was very disappointing but I did learn some of the other family secrets. It taught me unfortunately that my first impulse of staying away from Dad's side of the family was the right choice.

In any case..I'm sorta back. I have to drive mom back to Vermont in a few hours and then my work awaits me on Monday. I fear to look at how much work is piled on my desk.  A special time with mom was well worth what I face on Monday though. She did really well till today...and we met a lot of angels who helped me carry bags when airport personnel turned their backs on us.

Oh..computerless..I did get through Harry Potter #3 and to page 197 on Harry Potter #4 so at least I'm ready for the movie release now..LOL.

I hope everyone had a good week..and yes..it was quite chilly leaving NH and coming back into NH compared to 80 - 90 degrees all week in Lake Wales...but I like NH weather better than that humidity any day...

thanks for the welcome back and thanks for all your help with the survivor games. I lost my entire outlook express inbox but I was able to scan messages before I did and didn't see anything of real interest there...so if anyone sent me anything and I don't respond..that is why....

That's great Dar!  You and your mom deserved every second of that wonderful excursion - you waited so long for it to happen.

Welcome home!!!
