Houston Premiere...

I thought some of you would like to hear what happened at the Houston Premier that I attended.
 
I am going to cheat and post the post that I posted on Sucks:
 
This post is for FilmMrk and Jedijake,
 
I promised you both a post (I will condense as much as possible, and post more later, yeah!):
 
Premiere night was amazing, Daniel and his family were the most cordial hosts that I ever encountered. Of course, as I have said previously, I really enjoy meeting the posters, it really makes the events to put faces to names. In FilmMkr, I have made a lifelong friend. Sherebee you are a hoot. Darrell is Darrell. Erin from Survivor Thailand was an gracious hostess, and one of the sweetest people I have ever met.
 
Friday we met Daniel at Erin's lounge, me and Darrell arrived early, Erin was just getting her instucting her employees for the busy night. She made us feel at home and she does not have an adams apple, I know curious minds wanted to know.
 
Saturday, Daniel's mother invited me to breakfast at her home. I can't even describe how wonderful Dan's mom is. If I didn't have a mother I would want her to be my mom. Daniel's mom and dad cooked a gourmet breakfast for Daniel, Matt, G$^ and me, it was a culinary delight. Thanks Mom for the vitamins! It was my first time to meet Matt and I was so nervous (yes, me who has met most of the former Survivors). I am so embarrassed to say this but I pulled a Murtz with Matt. Those of you who know me, know that I hug everyone, I actually shook hands with Matt. OK, I will not be a Murtz now, just let me say, I now know where he is coming from.
 
Saturday, early afternoon: time for the Shimporee, and Daniel and Matt are the celebrities at this event. Daniel and Matt were signing autographs and had a question and answer session. I was so proud of both of them the way they carried themselves and answered some difficult questions. The best part is when their banner went up for auction. All of the Survivor posters were standing up and refused to let anyone else win the auction. Congrats, FilmMkr.
 
This post is getting big, I will conclude with the best stuff later.

Cool  Quantum I was wondering how it went.    I just loved reading every word.  I have to admit that I don't know FilmMkr; however, I just loved hearing about everything that happened.  It sounds like Matt and Daniel are good friends and breakfast with Daniel's mom _ that sounded like the best!

I have to tell you it was so nice to be asked to breakfast at the Lue's household.  I was the only one that was actually invited (I mean any poster).  Daniel's mother is so sweet and such a wonderful mother, I can not express the kudo's she deserves, and Daniel's father was wonderful, cooking a gourmet breakfast for us. Sometimes we show the events, this time I lived it more than anything else.  Although I have never been a picture taker.  Sorry gang....we are lucky that an other poster FilmMkr took a lot of pictures...if you are interested I will post them, if not OK...

oh we are aLWAYS interested in pictures!  and tidbits.  
 
Quantum it's so nice that you have such a nice friendship with Daniel.  I loved the part about shaking Matt's hand.   Anything new with those two guys?

Cool So happy for you that it went well and you enjoyed it.  Daniel's parents look so young!
We did think about joining you but Houston is about 5 hours from us, so we just are glad you had a great time!  Cool

thanks for sharing, and for the record, as far as I am concerned, one never has to ask about posting these types of pictures, I love them.  Feel like I have quite the social life when I see them, lol
