my roommate has constructed a 20 foot flying saucer which will land in our front yard with dead alien bodies thrown from it and under it for good measure. we are all going as aliens or alien autopsy folk this year. frosty will be a fuzzy green alien after i pick up the fabric tomorrow and sew it together. i still have not figured out how to be a femme alien yet as i would prefer not to wear the alien autopsy suit my roomie got me. the zipper broke before i got it on and it is way not flattering! after all, i am going out afterwards! where I live the kids trick or treat this afternoon. Too many parents complained years ago about it being unsafe at night etc etc. Its alright I guess, I used to love going out at night though.

We take David dressed up to my family's houses, thats about it.

Friday night we will go to my roomate's brother's house so because they still have trick or treat on Halloween and we will help hand out candy.

We like to go to my daughter's home and see how the gradnchildren are dress and all the kids in her neighborhood as well.
However this year we will be at the WHS Pirate Stadium for a football game. Our team is tied for 1st place and playing a team who we really eally want to beat!
When we were in high school and only an A school, these 4-A folks thought they were sooo much better than us! Now that our little town has caught up with them(and this team can go out and recruit their players just like a college does!!!
This is the one we really want to win, and State of course!
So we'll be dressed as loyal football fans!

My first real halloween since 1997!! (they dont celebrate it in japan)

I'll be handing out candy friday night, and then going and partying on saturday...jsut got the finishing touches (make-up, hair) for my giesha costume yesterday - can't wait!!

thanks so much for the ideas mum! i will most definitely be taking pictures. i have already taken many pictures of alien and mothership construction. we all chipped in and purchased over $40.00 worth of candy for the 130+ children who come by. i live in a very family oriented neighbourhood.
