Well...winter is officially here...by tomorrow morning we will have 25-30 cm on the ground (at least half that now) and it's not supposed to stop snowing until halloween...typical Edmonton halloween - a high of -2 and low of -15 predicted...just not fair!!

i must say that i enjoy living in places with all four seasons. even though we only get snow here in vancouver for 15 minutes (if we are lucky), i like the cycle/change of seasons. having said that, i do not have to change the end of my space heater like wingsy or shovel the walkway again and again like red. (i did have to do shovel when i was in prince george last winter.) so my friends, i am with you in spirit if not in cold shivering back breaking body! Wink

Winter? Winter? What is this winter you people speak of? It was 80 something today and that is the lowest it's been since practicly May! It hasn't snowed down here in south Florida since my dad was a teen, and that had to be at least a thousand years ago!! I haven't even ever seen snow. So all of you who are ticked off because of your "winter ", just remember I would gladly trade my sweaty air-conditioned life for your winter wonderland. Sad
