Anyone Else Have A Problem?

For the past few days, everytime I come to this site something strange is happening.  Huh  Before I can get in, the "Internet Explorer Script Error" message pops up.  At the bottom it says, "Do you want to continue running scripts on this page?".  I click "Yes" and I can continue.  But if I want to change pages, the same thing happens again.  It is a little annoying, is there anything I can do to get rid of it?  Is anyone else having this problem?

I've had something similar to that too, IL.  I'm just going to blame it on the solar flares.  :laff:

I have seen that happen in the past and both times it was related to the chatroom being down.

It has, for the time being, at least, stopped.  Rhune did you have anything to do with this?  If you did, thanks.  If you didn't, we'll just credit the computer gremlins with the fix.  Wink

I did not do anything to fix it.  My guess is that the chatroom people fixed their end.  The error occurs when the thing at the top is looking for the chatroom and can't find it, meaning the 3rd party we go through was crashed for some reason.  When they come back up and the chatroom exists again, that's when it fixes it's self.  I am going to assume it was the chatroom causing the grief.  Now I believe there is a way to go into your web browser and turn off "debugging" so that it won't prompt you if there is a script error.  I'll do some poking around to see if I can spot the setting, in case the chatroom goes down again.

Ok, as long as you're using Internet Explorer I know how to fix it. Wink

At the top click on tools
then select Internet Options
click on the tab that says Advanced
under Browsing, not too far down
make sure that Disable Script Debugging is checked
and make sure that Display a Notification about ever script error is UNchecked.

That should turn off the error messages you're getting.
