Hmm, I did not delete it for any reason. I will check with Bumper and see if he knows what happend to it.

I think I started the Dar's mom thread but as far I as know I didn't delete it. Other than the person who made the thread I would have thought only Rhune or the Mod in the section would have the power to delete. I may be wrong.

I don't think anyone deleted threads.

I posted the links to what threads I found per K-A's request. I can delete that if anyone has a problem with it.

Well, no one else can delete in here, other than a couple of my coworkers and I can't imagine why they would. The only other possible explanation is that the forum ate it. I have seen this happen from time to time on my other forum where it's a bit busier, so it happens more often. It's just one of the quirky things that can happen from time to time like thread duplication, only less common. If no one deleted it, then that's the only thing that could have happend.

well that certainly is a strange one isn't it? Wonder what that is telling me?

It is okay..I hadn't intended to cry here anymore about it. I am like anyone else who has lost their best friend..I will need time to grief and work my way through this. Once I find my humor again, I will be fine.

Thanks again to Addams for letting the people here know.

edited to ask if someone could please remove all the links that were listed if possible. I know that I talked about my mom from top to bottom on here and it offended a lot of people. I don't really think they need to see all those threads again.

Dar,

I don't think anyone was ever offended by you talking about your mom here. The problem was that people were concerned that you were also hurting/having difficulties and not taking care of yourself, and that was misinterpreted as people not wanting to hear about your mother. There are many of us, including myself, who would like to see you get some help for your own grief.

LOL on the above. I for one, was certainly NOt offended in any way. I also have an aging Mother and can emphacize with you every step of the way.

I am not trying to be rude. Just pointing out how unfeeling this board is. Boards are supposed to be supportive and people are supposed to care about others. Not constantly down people and think, without meeting people face to face that you know what is best for them

Don't know who you are, don't care. But I take exception with your viewpoint. Obiviously you are someone with an ax to grind and won't let facts stand in your way. To avoid the error of opening your mouth and inserting your foot again, I suggest that you take a bit of time and review the MANY threads and MANY posts in this Community. This site prides itself on it's sense of community and LACK of flaming, catty bitching and baiting. It appears that the lack of these aspects here is not enough for you. I suggest that if you aren't satisfied here, move on.

As Mod of this area, I think it's now best that this thread be locked. Further rebutal to Gech2's comments is pointless. Let's move on.
